The opening ceremony was presided over by curator Chen Yali, who is a teacher of Xiamen Academy of Arts and crafts, Fuzhou University. The initiator of the exhibition, the Art Department of Xiamen University Prof. Lin Chun, who is an important member of 1986 Xiamen dada, the Xiamen Art Museum curator Chen Xin and artist Chen Wenqin gave wonderful speeches. At the last, author Chen Zequan gave a thank-you speech.

The exhibition received the attention of people from all walks of life. On the day of the opening ceremony, there were the Xiamen Academy of Arts and crafts Fuzhou University Prof. Zheng Qimiao, who is chairman of Fujian watercolor Association; the chairman of Fujian Sculpture Society Fu Xinmin; the director of Xiamen Culture and Tourism Bureau Ye Xizhi; the Xiamen Academy of Arts and crafts Fuzhou University Prof. Li Jinxian, as well as relatives, friends and people from all walks of life etc. 

At the same time, the exhibition also received attention and reports from Xiamen Daily, Xiamen Evening News, Fujian Daily, Chinanews and Artdaily from USA.
